North!? Are we going the wrong way?
Bonjour la France

July 2018

Okay so we’re totally behind with our blog. And while we’ve captured our thoughts and photos we’ve decided our blog is going to change a bit. Instead of everything being sequential, we’re going to change it up to be similar to our cycling; non-linear.

What’s happening?! Well since our last blog post we cycled North through the United States up to Utah. Then we went home to Vancouver to visit family for 1.5 months. Our main goal of going to Vancouver was to pick up our 16 year old niece Stephanie who will be joining us this summer. We are setting off for Europe for 2 months during her summer break from school.

Going forward: Because we have a wider audience that includes Stephanie’s friends and interested parties, we are going to blog about what is happening right now. We will circle back to our amazing time in the USA and Canada after we have some real-time blogging with Stephanie. And while we want to share our thoughts, experiences and pictures with you; Stephanie’s contributions will be on her terms. We’re going to encourage her to blog if she wants and all pictures we post will go through her filter and approval first. We’ve learned over the last 4 years that everyone shares their experiences differently and our blog will incorporate Stephanie’s preferences.

One of the funnest parts of travel is planning. This is Stephanie organizing her belongings for the next 2 months.
