Where to begin.
Amanda writes: It’s been months. Many many months since we’ve released a blog post. I’m writing this message from North Vancouver, British Columbia Canada while it’s absolutely pouring rain outside. Not our normal climate for this time of year, but not horrible. We’re surrounded by friends and family and I’m having a blast! So for those of you who have been missing our blog posts, I’m happy to report it is my intention to do some serious catch up. Everything is drafted and ready to go, it’s just the fine tuning that needs to be done; oh and to add some spectacular photos and video.
It’s been five years since we sold everything we own and ventured out into the world to explore. As with everything we all do in life, it has its ups and downs. And when things get difficult it’s important to focus on what really matters. So we’ve taken a bit of a break from social media to focus on those priorities. Sure I could have released some of the ramblings of our travels, but it’s so important to me to be genuine that I put it on hold. Many of our faithful followers know that I don’t sugar coat anything and that’s what makes it meaningful for me. While I love to hear when our journey impacts others in a thoughtful way, at the end of the day I share our journey for myself. I enjoy recalling and capturing people, thoughts and photos as we travel and if the messages I write touch someone; awesome. How it impacts someone is up to them and beyond my control. If our blog posts have impacted you that’s wonderful and we hope to continue to give you something to think about.
