May 5th, 2016 There are two highways out of Oaxaca, both heading south. We decided on the less-busy Hwy#131/161 and were rewarded with no traffic and great scenery.
May 3-4th, 2016 Whoa! At first Oaxaca seems kind of boring, and then you realize that you don’t have enough time to see everything!
May 2nd, 2016 Nothing note-worthy about the ride into the city of Oaxaca, until you get there, then it’s pretty hectic and happening!
May 1st, 2016 Rolling hills lead us out of the Sierra Madre to the market town of Asuncion Nochixtlan where we shack up in a hotel for a well deserved shower, and a stroll through the tianguis.
April 30th, 2016 Our second day in the Sierra Madre de Oaxaca includes another 1092m in elevation gain, and more flat tires.
